I'm quite new here and by my own admission not a huge contributor, but I am having trouble getting to grips with this 'post pending approval' thing. Is it just some sub-forums, that need approval or have I already been flagged as a troublemaker
Can't seem to find anything in the rules so would just welcome some clarification. Thanks
Posting rules?
Re: Posting rules?
Hi there. When new members sign up their first few posts have to be approved by a moderator before they are visible on the forum. You haven't been flagged as a troublemaker, so fear not.
Re: Posting rules?

Are you telling me there is a list of flagged troublemakers
Does someone actually read all the new peoples posts or is it just a redundant process ?
Re: Re: Posting rules?
I reckon they do. I posted something twice because I thought it had failed the first time (didn't know about the vetting process then) and only one actually went on lineDoes someone actually read all the new peoples posts or is it just a redundant process ?

Re: Posting rules?
Yes, we read every post that needs moderating and keep a close eye on everything else. We try not too be too heavy handed in moderating but don't tolerate rudeness, disrespect to members and some more of the conspiracy theory type stuff, as there are plenty of other forums out there for that stuff.
We hope that members appreciate this site for what it is and if we make comments it is because we feel it doesn't fit with the style of the forum.
New members have 10 posts moderated before receiving complete freedom on the forum.
Hope that helps
