Hey everyone,
I'm just starting to get into prepping. My brother is a Jehovas Witness and apparently they have all been briefed at a recent meeting to make bug out preperations for the imminent apocalypse, and since I have been into camping and bushcraft for a while, he asked me for some advice about kit / skills etc.
I spent most of the night before last watching the American preppers episodes by National Geographic on YouTube, and whilst most if not all of them came off as a little bit 'Guns & Ammo subscriber' crazy, it certainly does make sense to have reserve food, water, supplies & fuel, along with a bug out / in plan just incase the S (does) HTF. I've also read 'Emergency by Neil Strauss' which was an interesting little read along the lines of prepping. I have also spent a fair bit of time previously thinking about what I would do if there was a zombie apocalypse. (Thought experiment only).
I, along with some of my brothers have a good mixture of bushcraft, security, & military skills, so bugging out wouldn't be a problem if absolutely needed, Plus I know of a few places we could initially head for in the short term, with long term planning being decided upon based on what type of brown sticky stuff were to HTF.

Re: New Liverpool prepper
Thank you for a detailed intro and welcome to the forum.
I would be interested to know what the JW's are prepping for, did he tell you anything else?
And we tend not to be a forum that preps for a zombie apocalypse...........

Re: New Liverpool prepper
He didn't say what the apocalypse would be like, or when it would come, but said that they would need to retreat to safety until it was over. This makes me think there would be some kind of conflict. He has said in the past that the bible predicts all the worlds armies will unite in an attempt to defeat God and his army of angels.
I am on the zombie survival boards too, so I'm covered for all eventualities.
