Could converted public loos solve property shortage?

Not a bad idea. Maybe even use them for Shelter or BOL (only if you have one in your area of course).

to be honest that looks like a good idea. on the surface but many people would know where it was. but you have that deterant it was a toilet.

There was a programme I caught recently (either George Clark or Kevin McCloud) and they were looking at small spaces. There was a woman in London who had converted a ladies and gents convenience (underground) into a very nice flat. It was a good space.

However not sure i would want people walking across the roof day and night and peeing down the steps after a heavy drinking session! :shock:

I seem to remember stories in the papers a few years back about old toilets being sold for silly money during the property boom.
