MRE shelf life NEW GUIDANCE

Post by hobo »

Bu**er, this'll hit part of my food storage pretty hard if accurate.

New info from MREinfo.com suggests a 60% REDUCTION in shelf life.

Though the cynic in me might say this could be a marketing ploy to increase sales.....

Is that just that producer's MRE's though?

The British Army rations are still OK.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

I imagine so ... but they'll be made to common standards. Dunno about the shelf life of the Brit ones though.

IIRC when I was in Iraq, the American MREs had to be refridgerated, the UK ones didn't.

That might of been Temperature related though :?:
