EDC bag

Post by jonb »

Hi All

Looking for a EDC bag , I've done the usual searches on Amazon and ebay and found some that might be suitable.

Can anyone recommend a small to mid size bag ?

Preferably black or sand colour.

Thanks

To be honest, any bag that does not draw attention. I recently, after 10 years of pratting about, made emergency/BOB/INCH/EDC/whatever bags, using LAPTOP bags. Nobody will look twice, and they hold what we need.
Just my suggestion.

Laptop bags could work , just thinking of a bag with more pockets.

The 5.11 tactical covrt 18 has loads of pockets and comes in a variety of colours. Can also take a laptop as well. I use in when travelling in foreign parts.
Day to day I use the 5.11 tactical rush 12 to get to work and back. Does look tactical but nowadays military style bags are carried by everyone without raising eyebrows.

Try some Airsofting websites... they have a tonne of tactical equipment and not too pricey either

check out this thread, lots of info, camera bags are a good one, mine is a snugpac responce pack, there are lots of versions made by different companies, but it all comes down to how much you need to carry everyday?

I like this lot, no affiliation or promotion intended, just good dealing and very helpful, there is much more than bags, they do a generic responce pack.

Just a thought on laptop bags, if that is their obvious purpose are you not making yourself a target for theft? I always try to avoid using a bag obviously designed for laptops.

I must admit I was thinking the same. A chav for example in times of need would still see more resale value in a laptop than a rucksack. Especially if it was early days and they didn't have the foresight to see things were going to get really nasty. They mug people just for wearing white earphones since it usually means they're connected to an apple product!

I've just realised that's twice in one day I've had a pop at chavs! I'm beginning to sound chavist
