Another food question from me - sorry!
I'm looking at putting some crackers or cripsbreads into my EDC. I just need maybe a couple of sealed packs of 4 or so. I need a plain (not sweet) cracker or something like crispbread (Ryvita) that can stay wrapped in small packages in my rucksack for a long time. These will be used as a substitute for bread, for dunking or putting food onto.
Is there such a thing? I can't have a whole unopened pack of crackers/crispbread in my rucksack - just a couple of sealed packs, preferebly with a decent long-life unopened.
Long-life crackers/crispbreads?
Re: Long-life crackers/crispbreads?
We sell little packets of four cream crackers at my work - you can pick them up at motorway service stations too, in the cafes. Tell you what they are good with - oxo! Stick a couple of oxo cubes in your kit and then you can dissolve them in boiling water, break up the crackers into the liquid - a nice, warning snack.
Re: Long-life crackers/crispbreads?
Cool! I've also found Ryvita snack packs, which are small, individually wrapped and seem to have a long shelf-life - so they might be the ones!
