New member and 'seed sprouting'

Post by Romy »

Hi all, I'm a new member from South Wiltshire. What a great forum I'm so glad to find a 'UK' preppers site and was really grateful for the info about ethanol fires and fuel. My prepping started with storing few extras then discovered seed sprouting, which is so easy to do and is much healthier than just cooked pulses and easy to store. I have now started growing 'Micro Greens', next step to 'sprouting'. Both can be grown indoors without a garden and require little space, an ideal prepping venture. Great to meet you all :P

Thank you all for your welcome and replies. I'm prepping for what I think will be a financial collapse, probably sometime soon. Regarding the 'micro greens', it is a learning curve for me right now, had my first attempt with buckwheat, sunflower seeds and mustard and cress. The mustard and cress wasn't much cop but the others were quite good. I'm having to go away for a couple of weeks guys but I will update when i return :P
