Hi guys,
Hope your all well. I was thinking of putting a car bug out bag/kit for just in case I am on the road and SHTF. Has anyone made one or have any suggestions on how to start to put one together. I have thought about a folding spade and a blanket, however not to sure what else, I would need to store it in the boot of the car, so need to keep it compact.
Thanks
Mike

Re: Car bug out bag
Make it a seasonal kit with basic items that stay all year round.
Bottled water.
Snacks or small stove with food to warm up on it.
Chnage of clothes.
Suitable coats, shoes etc
Hi-viz waistcoat/jacket
First aid kit
Wet wipes/tissues
Nappy sacks for rubbish
She-wee for female companion?
Torch
Fire lighting kit
Spare cash
Spare glasses or sunglasses
Multi tool
Just to get you started, I could add more. There are many discussions on this so for more do a search.
Mine is stored in a backpack so that if I need to abandon the car, I can get home or to a hotel (apart from the shoes- I would probably need to wear those).
Some people store in a plastic box with lid, boot tidy or whatever you feel is suitable.
Hope that helps.

Re: Car bug out bag
Hi,
Thanks for the list, I will try and put something like that together this weekend. If anyone else has any tips or add ons, do let me know. I will use the one bag in the boot method, good idea if I need to leave the car and head off on foot. Will update you guys with my progress soon
Thanks
Mike
