I don't know if it would suit you, but it certainly works for me up in the Wild West coast. I got the idea from a youtube vid. Go to youtube search for homemade desalinator and the first vid should be a guy called Joseph Schmidt. Good video, sound instruction!

Stalking bag + BOB

Anybody have any HANDS ON experience of the eberlestock gunslinger 2 or the x3 lo drag?? I am seriously considering investing in one for both stalking, and as a BOB for my daughter and myself.... I know they cost a small fortune, but the rifle carrying capability as well as any other long bit of kit...

If a person was deemed to be trustworthy and owned a small pistol, the odds are changed if they are trained how to properly use it. How are they going to be trained? There is a BIG difference between a paper target and a human being, and what about if they missed, how many innocents are hurt or kil...

I think for me a renewed look at gun law in Britain would be a welcome sight.... I don't know if going to the same lengths as America is a good idea, but owning a fully legal pistol of some sort for home/family defence makes sense to me. I am a fac holder which is for a weapon used for legal stalkin...

I pack two smallish bits of clear braided and mark one with black tape (dirty usage) and no marking on other (clean usage). They are there for possibly draining fuel for stove/fire etc, and for getting water from inaccessible places or from under top contamination.... Will look at a still now though...

Have been picking through Bear Grylls - Living Wild book- all day. I quite like it, some good little nuggets in there. Im going to treat myself to an axe (or hatchet) but do not know what brand, size, type to get...any advice please? will be a present to self if that counts. think i need a small ki...
