Not done this for years :lol: Used to use KMnO4 with ethylene Glycol (anti Freeze) works really well and great if you can find some dead wood, just gouge a dimple in the wood fill with crystals and use about 6-10 drops of ethylen glycol the reaction is hot enough to get a small log going in no time ...

I had a look at one of these in the local camping shop, Nice idea, but expensive and heavy for what it is, It's ok for the gadget geeks i suppose if you really can't live without the mobile phone, bit too gimmicky for me though

think i'll stick to my Kelly Kettle :|
