Re: EDC kit for the car

In mine you'll also find: WD40 for things that won't move, which should. Duct-tape for things that move, which shouldn't. Plastic strips. Plastic bags (trash bags) for trash and keeping stuff together. 20L (less can do it) Fuel can (filled ;) ) Extra window washer fluid. In the winter timer i also h...

Re: Painkiller storage

I was wondering about all that - my son has already been through this scenario. Wondering if I can get hold of all of this without a prescription? Wouldn't have any idea at the moment how to administer all of this (Epipens don't require much training). We always have a supply of anti-histamine liqu...

Re: Painkiller storage

Any doctors out there who can tell me what to do if he accidentally comes into contact with peanuts post SHTF. This would, of course, be after the Epi-pens had gone out of date You can get hold of adrenaline in ampoules for IM or IV injection, slower than an Epi-Pen but better than nothing. It woul...

Re: GHB - Webbing Advice

If the definitely unstylish Kwik bag, which also looses points for unhandiness, doesn't appeal, i'd recommend th 5.11 MOAB 10 as an alternative to the maxpedition. It. comes in plain black, and i've been carrying as an EDC bag for almost a year now, without any snide remarks from friends, coworkers ...

This is the link for the thread in which i wrote a short review. http://www.uk-preppers.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8539&start=10#p93983 My conclusion; for hiking I prefer my Jetboil or Trangia. I think the only place for this one is in the INCH-bag (though i haven't made one yet (and h...

Re: Antibiotics again...advice please

Nothing rude on PM. I believe we ended with a good idea about each others perspective on things. No bad blood or unfriendliness on my part, and neither on lonewolfs i believe(and hope :) ). We found some issues we agreed on and some we agreed to disagree on. Don't make this a storm in a glass of wat...

Re: Antibiotics again...advice please

I'm sorry the thread got derailed.

I boil it down. I'd advise you to use moxifloxacin (Avelox) in your prepping supplies.

Re: Was looking for an EDC pouch on Amazon...

I'm in the market for something along the lines of a Skinth that was posted here a few days ago. Anyone know of anything as neat and compact that's available in the UK? They do ship to Europe. Skinth has a 10$ flatrate P&P fee worldwide. I have (because of the Skinth thread), placed an order fo...

Re: Antibiotics again...advice please

I don't trust the UK NHS, in fact I think hospital is the worst place to be unless you've got a life threatening illness. my advise to anyone would be if you NEED to take repeat prescriptions then get yourself a stockpile, to anyone else I'd advise WEANING themselves off any and all unnecessary dru...
