Re: Tents for Possible bug out!
I've currently got one of these Vango Banshee 300's which I've found pretty decent so far. Not tested it in strong winds yet but it's seen a fair amount of heavy rain and hasn't faltered at all. http://www.vango.co.uk/gb/3-person-tent/17-banshee-300.html I also plan to pick up a tarp just to keep in...

Re: multitools
I've owned a Leatherman Charge tti for a good many years now which my wife calls my 'American Express' because I don't leave home without it. It's been a fantastic multi tool and I've kept it in great condition. Recently though the large screw driver tool broke off completely which I was quite annoy...

Oh! From what the guy said, it seemed that they didn't really do them but instead were offering to fudge it. I'll try one of the Timpson's in town and see if I fair any better. Cheers

Re: Hello from Manchester
Hi there
I'm also from Manchester and am fairly new to prepping. I'll be keeping an eye on your 'five pound preps' topic as it's interesting to see what's available for those on a budget and I definitely fall into that category lol

LOWA Boots
Hi there, I've got a pair of Lowa Mountain GTX that I use for both work and play, however they now need resoling. I live in the Manchester area of the UK and wondered if anyone could suggest a good place to get this done. I asked at the local Timpsons shop and whilst they said they can resole them, ...

Re: Manchester preppers
Hey, I'm over in Sale and have just started out with prepping really, though I've had a simple EDC for years now. Now I'm just picking up the occasional bits when and where I can to store in my backpack. I've got plans eventually to put together a fairly decent EDC and BoB but it'll take a while as ...
