Re: Antibiotics again...advice please
OK - maybe my original, specific (I thought) question has been misunderstood? ;) I'm looking for advice please on the best broad spectrum antibiotic (suitable for someone with a penicillin allergy) to add to my emergency/SHTF medicine store. I'm hoping for advice from people with this medical knowle...

Re: Antibiotics again...advice please
I'm simply looking for advice from those on here who have medical knowledge (and I believe there are some) which they are prepared to share...then I will conduct my own research from that advice! Isn't that the point of a forum like this? :) I have no intention of wasting my doctor's time to go and ...

Re: Antibiotics again...advice please
I try to avoid doctors lol and didn't think it was the sort of question I could pose! "I'm intending to stock up on antibiotics to add to my prepper's stock of emergency medicines and I'm going to buy them from an online pharmacy without a prescription...what would you suggest doc?"

Re: Dogs.
No, not boned. Did a lot of research and the consensus of opinion is that raw chicken bones are perfectly safe to feed to dogs.ForgeCorvus wrote:Hillbilly: Boned I hope, bird bones are killers

Re: Dogs.
As an aside...I've started introducing raw chicken (wings) into our dog's diet a) on the basis it's supposed to be good for them and b) with the thinking that it's a cheap and abundant food source...he was a bit fazed by the chicken wing sitting in his bowl at first (prefers Dad's beer can chicken I...

Halloumi cheese
Not found mention of it on here before so I thought I'd share...Halloumi (squeaky!) cheese (from Cyprus originally) has a long "shelf life" of around a year (it's preserved in brine and vacuum packed)...longer than any other cheese I've come across. If anyone's not already familiar with it...

Kilner/glass jars for dried food storage?
Have had a poke about the site but couldn't find the exact answer to my question...would it be beneficial to decant dried goods (am thinking rice, pulses, nuts, oats etc) from their cellophane packaging into kilner or even regular screw top glass jars (such as those big gherkin or coffee jars) for s...
