Re: Setting yourself apart from the rest....
There are many sources relating to chip implants on the net used for behaviour control or as a step towards a cashless society. Chips (not implanted...yet) are being used in some schools as a way of monitoring activity and access to certain resources. If such tech is introduced early in life, at sch...

Re: Setting yourself apart from the rest....
Indeed we are different. We (preppers and all free thinkers) do not accept the 'matrix' as expounded by the media and Government. Neither of these bodies tell it as it, is nor are they interested in the lives of individual 'sheeple' other than as 'production units' for their Global ambitions. Keep t...

Re: Setting yourself apart from the rest....
My area, the Somerset Levels, went through 3 months of major flooding. We found the community spirit appeared from nowhere. Supplies were donated from all over the country. Locals like myself, were working 7-8 hours a day, 7 days a week, sandbagging, moving supplies etc. we had very little 'official...

Re: Overpopulation with climate change
Reading previous posts, I agree that humans have no natural control, no true predator, other than ourselves. In the past, the most populated areas of the world were in a constant state or war. 100 Years War, Thirty Years War, Napleonic Wars, etc. back then populations were culled by being cannon fod...

Re: Some sort of contact
I have had a couple of private messages, thanks for that. However, I cannot answer them yet as I have not earned access to this. Obviously, eventually I can 'email' privately this way which is great, so local contact can be made. One of the private messages asked why I should want contact face to fa...

Space blanket A length of para cord Legal pocket knife (Nieto 0102) with small sharpening stone Fire kit - steel, lighter and some w...

Re: Some sort of contact
Ok, fair enough. I will await developments in my area. I saw that there were a few people listed as being Area 1 more specifically Somerset - SW area. So, eventual direct communication and face to face, seems good. I have what I think is emergency kit for Bug In or Bug out, but no experienced people...

Some sort of contact
I am pretty new to prepping, though I have always been unofficially preparing in some form or another. I understand reluctance to give out details on a forum. So, how do we email or contact each other so we can get to know if we want to actually meet? I am happy to put up an email I use occasionally...

Re: New Member (North Somerset)
Are there any meetings or groups in Somerset? I live in the Taunton area. Saw Scott, from Somerset, on the TV UK Prepper programme. Would like to have some contact with him or similar with a view to sharing ideas or learning more bushcraft.
