Maybe think of adding some toilet paper, water, lighter, zipties, hand sanitizer or small soap, chewing gum, may be a spare battery for torch, pen and paper, a couple of glow sticks.

I don't have a specific book but i do have my lists which i add to and evaluate as things change, mainly edc and bob bag lists. Also i have quite a few bookmarks on webpages and ebooks which i never get round to reading.

I have been ordering a few items that are missing from my medical kit, i am also putting effort in to hopefully improving a long injury.
