I don't have a specific book but i do have my lists which i add to and evaluate as things change, mainly edc and bob bag lists. Also i have quite a few bookmarks on webpages and ebooks which i never get round to reading.

This is just a fantastic idea, I have several of the "mini" series of fishing, hunting, tracking, foraging but I could easily transfer the relevant stuff to a waterproof book.
A1 idea :D

what about those document books, they are A4 plastic and 80 slide in pages that you then slide in from the top so you can put one each side so you get 80 pages that would be 160 documents if you piut them in back to back.They have them in office world and all the stationary shops.
useful for recipes too.
