Re: What preps are you doing this week? part 2.

Had a proper sort out and realised I have kit that I will never use or need in the future, too numerous to bore you with here, But things for storage, carriage etc if anybody wants to see what I've got and make an offer - send me a message.

How will you cope/deal with depression post SHTF

Hi all, don't want to come across as morbid or anything, however I was wondering if anybody has given thought to coping after any kind of situation with moments, periods or events of breakdown in yourself or those closest and dearest to you. I have coping mechanisms in place having had personal expe...

Re: kit not needed

Military Kit v Civvie Kit

I am in a personal conflict with myself, Military Surplus/Issue - verus Civvie Kit (cheap or expensive) having spent 24 and a bit years in the Army I am well versed in the attributes of military kit, however, I am also aware of the epic failures caused by cost cutting MOD account holders chasing che...

Hello from a newbie

Hi all, new to the site, but after 24 years in the Army not really new to prepping. After all this time and with a family who have turned their back even on camping, I have decided to start preparing to Bug In. I will be looking at the place we are in and making a plan for security, water, food then...
