Made a little meths stove a few days ago. Timed how long it took to boil 0.5l of water in a 2l kettle, then the same in a 1litre pan. 5 mins for the kettle, 7 mins for the pan. 6 capfulls of meths gave 11 mins burn time. Just made a Hobo stove from a charity shop bargain I picked up for £2. Stainles...

Thank you for the welcome. Been round the charity shops an found an old stainless steel flask. So making the stove from that is my next experiment. Doug
