Re: looking at getting a 4x4 & looking for your opinions..
I have 2 P38 Range rovers parked outside, a knackered 2.5 diesel which needs quite a lot of work and it's replacement a 4.6 petrol. Love the petrol, hate the mpg... The diesel was our old 4x4 ambulance ( now the petrols job) had a load of work done to the front end and a new clutch. It needs a lot d...

Re: Homemade Thermoelectric Plate ~(o)~
Very nice setup, electricity is like magic to me, but I think I could have a go at this. All I remember from many years ago is wiring in series increases the voltage, where wiring in parallel keeps the voltage the same, so increases the current, I think.... Where did you get the usb convertor...

Re: Spring V CO2 Air Pistol
I agree with most of you, PCP and CO2 will struggle post SHTF, upkeep, seals and gas will be major problems. I have a .177 Weinrauch Hw97K that is almost bulletproof as my choice. I do have PCP and CO2 guns as well, but the 97K has never let me down.

Re: Realistic BOV choices
My thinking is a BOV is just that, bug out. Once in position you are only going to use it if you become compromised or as a standby generator for charging kit. I like the idea of a trailer as some of the guys on YouTube have, just so it can be kept loaded with some kit. My Range Rover is in use as m...

Re: Realistic BOV choices
I have just picked up a cheap P38a Range Rover, needs work but will run on Veg oil, plus is big enough to sleep in. Just got to fit it out on the cheap now.

Many thanks for the correction, I thought it was a bit excessive. It just goes to show we live and learn.

Re: USMC Kabar Knife
I got given an M9 bayonet a couple of years ago, excellent bit of kit, even down to the bayonet/scabbard wire cutting combo, much better than the UK SA80 version. I can't find a molle sheath for it though, so may have to manufacture something.

I was at the shot show in Vegas a couple of years ago, that was huge. When the Yanks do a show, they DO a show.

Re: So You want to Bury a shipping Container?
That could have been messy. A few railway sleepers at the side and on top might have helped with the rigidity issues though.
