Re: Student journalist looking to speak to some of you
I think you'd have a point if this was just an ordinary poster; I too dislike grammar nazis. But it isn't an ordinary poster. It's someone approaching us to conduct business. Let him learn a valuable lesson since he's a student - that sloppiness on an online forum or other form of communication is f...

If someone's been careless with their own contribution, they're likely to be careless with your contribution.

Re: BOB/GHB clothing for Britain.
I'm sure the ones some of us on here bought a couple of months ago were labelled base layer. If they're widening the range that's great. I prefer an ordinary fleece for my mid layer as the UK isn't that cold so often I only need 2 layers, and I want that 2nd layer to be reasonably waterproof, and fu...

20% off mx3 freeze dried food
If like me you're planning on covering your food preps mostly using freeze-dried food, you may be interested to know that mx3 are doing a 20% sale. Even without the sale they're cheaper than Mountain House. https://www.mx3.fr/en/350-601-kcal-and-more?orderby=reference&orderway=desc&orderway=...

Re: Preserving Eggs
I thought coating uncooked eggs in vaseline was the way to do it. Last for years so I hear. Not the sort of thing I'd want to risk in any way though so I wouldn't do this unless I'd researched it thoroughly.

Re: new you tube post about solar batterys from down under
Really encouraging. Wouldn't it be fantastic to be almost self-sufficient for energy use?! And if SHTF you just dial down your usage. Maintenance costs might be a problem though. Be good to get this along with that method of electric house heating that jansman (I think) talked about in another thread.
