Re: Winter trousers
Only for emergencies and the odd time I'm out for a few hours on a really cold windy day (I don't do hill walking these days as my knees are wrecked). I did have some cheap softshell ones but they are a bit big now. I ordered some Regatta softshell ones but they were too tight, even though I have o...

Re: Regarding low key lightweight camping equipment.
Some nice gear you got there. Make sure you have puncture repair stuff for the mat. Here's mine: Thermarest Uberlite short air mat 170g, R = 2.3, Tog 4 (covers shoulders to knees) https://ultralightoutdoorgear.co.uk/neoair-uberlite-small-sleeping-mat/ (expensive but I got mine for £105 off Addnatur...

No problem. Thankyou for doing that for me and the reason for posting it on the wrong area is due to me being new to using the forum. My apologies.

Regarding low key lightweight camping equipment.
Hi all. I have recently been investing in some lightweight camping equipment for some low key stealth camping for the local woodland. I thought I would share some of those links with you if you are interested. Of needs be you could always add a camouflage net over the bivvi tent. Robens FjellGuard 6...

Re: Walkie-talkies 1km urban (small town) range
Hi there! I’m hoping you can help. I’ve looked over several posts here already but couldn’t find someone ask the same question but apologies if they have. I’m looking for a walkie-talkie (or other communication device) that will work well in an urban/town location, specially a seaside location in K...

Re: Reccomending The Raptor Survival 6in1 Shears
I use the genuine Leatherman Raptors at work, paramedic, for when you absolutely need to cut through something first time and fast. Most of the cheap naff, disposable tuffcuts work give us are luck of the draw whether theyre any good or not, often theyll struggle to cut through a thick pair of jean...

Re: Reccomending The Raptor Survival 6in1 Shears
That's cool. I personally wouldn't feel comfortable carrying something like that at the moment as I do live on a small island. However if I am going camping or doing some bushcraft I will use some sort of blade or mulitool. Pretty cool that you have got your family using them. Thanks for your reply.

Reccomending The Raptor Survival 6in1 Shears
I personally would highly recommend that you add this item to your bugout bag or even your EDC gear. Awesome piece of kit for such a small item. It arrived in the post today and I was surprised to find how compact it was when it arrived in a relatively small cardboard box. The item is of a very high...
