Rain, Rain & yet more rain

Post by arnieh »

Hi all, has all the recent rain and general bad weather influenced your prepping at all and if so how?

Yup, i have installed a GAY detector in my hallway, judging from what the UKIP idiots think it should allow me to foresee more storms resulting from the increasing gays getting married....

In seriousness though, i think i have been frorced to make a few changes and plan to buy additional items for my stores. My EDC includes more money than i usually reserve, as since christmas i have had a lot of trouble trying to get to and from home and work. Trains breaking down or not showing up or being left stranded. I also now carry and additional mobile phone battery and an alternative sim card as my phone seems to lose service a lot and i noticed when i was on a broken down train 2 weeks ago most of the people making calls said they were all on the three network

This time last year, to the day, we had 150mm of snow.
I recently experienced Plymouth City centre so that's why I prep.

I've been on a tour of the UK for UKIP. I do apologise.
Back on topic, yes it has made a difference. Something that should be part of an EDC now is. Waterproofs. I have no idea why they weren't in there, they are now though.
