Baby Preppers?

Post by JoshPreps »

Hey Guys, my girlfriend and I are expecting our first child in roughly a week (very excited :D ) adding our own little prepper princess into the mix. Does anyone else have a smaller version of a BOB to accommodate their child? If so what kind of bits do you put in it? We've already stocked up on nappies and what not through out the past months.
Although I don't want to go too over board, as I just want to be able to enjoy being a daddy without worrying or panicking that some disaster is about to happen and that I need to able to have her BOB within reach! We're also moving into a house in the next month so everything is very hectic at the moment, fingers crossed nothing happens during the move otherwise we'd be pretty screwed!

Any other tips/thoughts?

Congrats to Herself and yourself.

Your average Sprog-BoB seems to basically be the nappy bag (probably with some extra bits in it).

I read (on another forum) about a prepper mum and the Bugging gear that she loaded on her pushchair

Google 'Jogging stroller' for an all-terrain baby transport system (pram  )

Thanks!
Yeah we've got all the nappy bag, just was curious if anyone puts anything 'unusual' into it, that you wouldn't perhaps think to put in. Oh haha that sounds ace, my girlfriend would love that idea! Whether she'd put it into practice is a whole different story.

My parents recently bought me the book 'Commando Dad' as a small dig into our prepping, I must admit I have given the first few pages a read

Good luck and enjoy every moment.
The baby bag will change and evolve as you decide what you want to carry.
