Its a bit pricey for what it is but its definitely a fun toy. I would be concerned about air quality issues though. Also, if you are actually cooking the food in the same compartment where the candles are burning, you will get soot and wax deposits on the food itself surely....

why is stuff like this so expensive
for all intents its just sheet steel with a few basic tools i bet you could make one for next to nothing.....

i bet it would be better if you laminated 2 pieced of steel with glass fibre in the middle to retain the heat.. linked together with a few nuts and bolts
Although i like my coleman oven i cant help but think its overly flimsy for what i paid for it
