Seriously though, I think your bog standard Marigolds are enough for the job...... But I've not tested them so I can't promise anything

A great little book I've got is Food for Free by Collins Gem. It's pretty idiot proof and has great pictures as well as explaining what time of year is best to pick it, what region it grows in, etc. We are really lucky in that we live near a hill, a stream and a grass area. It's amazing what grows there! I've spent many a happy hour scrumping berries apples and leaves. I'm really looking forward to more posts in this subject.

AFAIK, once they go limp they don't sting, so can be eaten raw.
