Calling all Smiths

Post by Quercus-robur »

Hi Guys,

Below is a link to a guy who makes various pieces of homemade bushcraft kit. In the video below he makes some tent pegs with an enclosed loop that enable him to use them for things like racks for his stove/pots etc. I know they are simple to make but I don't have the tools and normal tent pegs don't have the enclosed loop.

If anyone could make me a dozen or so of these and tell me how much they would like for their time and effort it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi ifnno one else has helped out in a couple Of months I will knock some out unfortunately I haven't got a tricity in my new shed for the welder yet should be mid spring .... If the weather ever turns around lol although you will probably be sorted by then!
Perhaps if you change title to has anyone got a welder? You might widen the net :D
Otherwise jog my memory later as I fancy a hand full for myself

Thanks for that. Will hopefully get help with it soon. If you watch the video and look at the many uses for such a simply bit of kit, they really are useful to preppers. The guy in the video is great. He has several videos of homemade bushcraft kit he has designed and some of it really is brilliant.

I'm afraid I don't know. What would produce the strongest end result? I am not sure on the best method of producing them. All I know is they would be a useful tool to have and I trust you guys to make something that would be strong enough.

No Problem. I think the guy is great. He has came up with some great homemade bushcraft/survival items. My favourite items are those pegs. For something so simple they have many different uses.
