if I could get something fairly cheap that I could scan-not necessarily transmit-and pick up information especially after TSHTF that COULD be useful, but a walkie talkie would just be something that got chucked in a drawer until TSHTF and who am I supposed to be contacting? somehow I don't think this will be part of my preps.
