I think there's a list of veg we grow in another similar thread from last year, so I'll not repeat myself.

We grow lots of veg as we eat loads of it. We're not vegan/vegetarian, but have chosen to eat less but better quality meat from either locally sourced or our local butcher.

This year, I'd like to grow a pumpkin bigger than last years monster.

That's my eldest with the Halloween lantern.

Can you recommend stuff that will grow and be happy in cooler and maybe wetter weather ? The long range forecast is DIRE  What do we plant first?

Hi, I'm hoping to grow tomatoes, brocolli, parsnips, carrots, potatoes, peppers, peas and sprouts this year, all from seed, done really well last year. Also planted a raspberry bush, blackberry bush and a redcurrant bush!

I plan to do raspberries , tomatoes, carrots, broccolli, sweet peppers, chilli peppers, potatoes and cucumber.

Did two tomato trees last year and got 100 tomatoes off EACH tree, saving us £100's pounds as we eat alot of salad, usually spending £8-10 pounds per week on fresh tomatoes. I have done organic raspberries before and they came out huge and really sweet, this tree has borne 2 years in a row without fail and is portable as I moved house after my first crop.

I plan to invest in the Excalibur food dehydrator because then I can grow more than usual and dehydrate and store in mylar bags.

I found this winter the cost of veg was just ridiculous nearly £1 for a cucumber! - my green house is going to be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal busy this year.

I am not surprised - and then they all filled with chemicals - when I did my tomatoes last summer - after picking I left outside they stayed fresh for few weeks with no problems.

Store bought - in less than a week they were rotting and getting mold. Definitely home grown for me - I know you can get some veg cheap as chips in summer but the quality doesn't stand up when comparing taste and longevity.
