Off to pirtex the hydraulic hose people as the tractors loader has blown a hose , always cheaper to take it to them than get one of there vans out .
Which has got me worried , its easy to run to get a hose made but its a 15 mile round trip, wonder if there are hose repair couplers for emergency repairs , need to look into that . And into auto place for a drum of cheap oil to top the tractor up .
At least its looking like another beautiful day , have fun all

Plan like its the last beer in the fridge.
Don't know how much this relates to prepping, but last week purchased a lock picking set and have been having great fun this week trying to unlock just about everything. Have managed quite a few padlocks and a yale lock (All mine and perfectly legal) now looking forward to trying some higher quality security locks.
The thing that shocks me is how easy a lot of locks are after looking up some basic instructions on Youtube.
I don't know if I will ever have to use the skill in anger, but it is fun and you never know.
finely moving from a small town to be nearer a much bigger small city. The plus side of this is that I have a large garage that needs doing up and a garden that is just laid to lawn guess what the garage will be used for
The down side I will have to look more sercurity

This evening pricked out 300 onion plants, 50 tomato, a dozen chilli and took in a mahoosive pile of firewood from my builder friend. Also bottled 80 pints of Bitter(will keep me and brother goin') and 60 bottles of wine. The pantry looks good!

Brilliant...I'd quite like the lock picking skill. I've been learning knots as I was totally unable to tie a single one, other than maybe a granny! Now I can do about 15 or so. I'll probably never need them, but it was fun learning and I'm quite chuffed.
My first go at archery. Explorers having a coffee morning for fundraising. Archery on offer. Good opportunity to have my first attempt in a fun environment. Available at local sports centre as well - that'll be my next port of call pretty soon. Should learn a few knots too while I'm there. My kids are already way ahead of me in all these matters. Need to catch them up:).
Allotment weekend - that will be my prepping for the weekend. Have told the kids - No - I am NOT running them here there and everywhere this weekend - its a "mum" weekend. If they want to earn extra pocket money they can come down the allotment with me or fester in their room - their choice but either way I am down the veg patch, getting it all prepared for the spring planting. Year ahead preps it is for me this weekend!
