Hi

Hello from Northern Ireland.

I've started to get a few preps together, wifes not convinced but I think that starting small is better than not starting at all.

I generally feel that Western Society is on the verge of collapse; financially, socially and morally. I believe that the Government is increasingly interfering with the lives of private citizens whilst spoiling for war with other nations.

Being an Island nation it wouldn't take to long for food to run out, and with our reliance on shopping and inability to live off the land it wouldn't take to long for the collapse of society.

Currently work as civil servant.

Being part of a small island I'm not fussing too much about bugging out immediately as there is nowhere to go.

Trying to concentrate on the basics, provision of water, shelter and food. However my previous experience in the health service gives me a decent skill set.

Although only relatively recently making the decision to start prepping I want to learn to make any preps more effective.

That sounds really good, pb, that'll all give you a good chance if things go pear shaped, whether its individual/national, temporary/permanent.

Welcome!
