Hi everyone,
New user, so thought I would say hello. I've lived on the light side of prepper thinking for many years, but given the way things seem to be heading these days, it's time to become a little more serious.
At present, I guess I would be happy for a few days if the SHTF, but that's not really enough.
Here to listen and learn for now. Lots of reading etc.
Cheers all,
Ian

Hello and welcome to the Forum.
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Hi Pseudonym,
Well, I've been reading my way through topics on and off today. Learnt a fair bit, and realised that I actually have a lot more gear (and even a little understanding to go with it) than I thought. Good start.
I'll be out of the country again for a little while. Thankfully able to rely on my own FAK this time, after having to deal with a nasty knife injury with no med kit to speak of last time out.... "You won't need it" aye... Lesson learnt.
On return, I'll be sorting my BOB out, and supplies for the home too. I'll try to convince the other half that it's MORE than needed out there, but she's not on board yet (although admits the country could well go to shi!e in the future, be it governmentally, weather wise etc). I'd probably go with catastrophic weather events after seeing a hail and thunder storm devastate the city. Our car looks cool with micro craters from the 1" hailstones...(not!).
If your wondering where in the world the other home is... Well I'm a Welsh lad. The other base will be home to a pile of lunatic football fans very soon...... Thankfully no where near us.... If the stadiums are anywhere near finished lol.
Brilliant site. Looking and learning. Oh... Quick question. Anyone know a good site or person to buy the Israeli bandages, celox, quick clot, compression bandages etc the military guys are issued with from?
Cheers, Ian
