Hi, Newbie from North Cumbria (near Penrith) Looking to prep for....Whatever, but on a slight budget. Just stockpiling food and fuel for heating and keeping warm, would be great to hear from like minded ppl around here, looking at trying to build emergency power supply using deep cycle batteries next, and lots of other things too. Have seen loads of useful info here, thanks.

Hello and welcome. An alternative non grid tied power capability is on my list for this year. Are you Planning on Solar / wind or some other form of generation? Im going for a 12v solar based system personally.
