Hi dude you might already have them but i couldnt see great B.O.B btw , have you got water purification tablets ? I noticed you probably intend on boiling water to purify it but 2 methods is always handy , you can pick up a box containing 50 tablets (1 tab per 1L) from most pharmecies , could i ask for a little more info on you air rifle ? i.e price and supplier ? Thanks

Nice! What about a basha or tarp doesn't have to be huge!

Most of the basics covered but yeah a bit of tarp at the least or a basha would definitely help.
Ive got a couple of 2.5M (ish) measures of strong rope in mine, always handy, not too heavy, ill be interested to hear other takes but in my oppinion, if youve got space, and you can manage the weight, take it.

Hi,
I would add some cordage, (paracord, surveyors Line) small roll of Gaffer Tape along with the tarp/Basha already suggested you have a shelter. As well as puritabs a water filter would be useful. The sawyer Mini will filter 100,000 gallons and is light and compact with unlimited shelf life. (I have no affiliation with sawyer just like their products)

Cheers, I do have tablets and paracord....don't think you can see them in the pictures. It's a good point about the tarp I don't have any shelter at all! :o .

The rifle is an old Webley Vulcan, given to me by my Dad. I'm not sure where he got it as they are quite old now but as it's a simple snap barrel mechanism it should be reliable in the field :D .

What wire you using for snares? Is it snare wire or something else?

Look at a way to filter your water before treating, a bought milbank bag is good (quite cheap) you can make one that'll work ok too.

How long are you thinking of using this BOB for? 2 days 3 days a week?
If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is usually the answer.

I think that a BoB should sustain you for at least 72hours, with that in mind
More food, and I mean real food not lifeboat rations (although a brick of those are a great addition)

Shelter, it doesn't matter if its a basha, tarp, tent or bivy-bag. You need some way to get out of the weather.

Something to sleep in, blanket, quilt or a sleeping bag. This isn't a GHB where you're rushing home to get to your preps, this is something you have to live out of.

More water gear. You've got one small waterbottle, I'd add a bladder. I'm also a +1 with getting a filter as well as water tabs (and Boiling makes three). Millbank bags are stupidly cheap, simple and effective (they help preserve your filter, take out the 'bits' that make tabs less effective and make the water look cleaner).

Air rifle in a BoB?

Nice little setup.
As for shelter I suggest army issue bivi bag.
Binos.....? Why? - if you have a scope on your air rifle that's all you need.
Snaring - I don't want to seem rude - can you use it correctly?
You don't seem to have any form of skinning knife for your traps.
If you can't live by yourself - don't hold me back.
