Hi! I really want one of these bags.... I have seen them on Amazon for about 126 quid, they however look like the old type with one seam on the straps (at the top).
I understand this pack has had a redesign and now has thicker straps and two seams on them.
Any idea where I can get the new version for a decent price?
Thanks

I've no idea but I know someone nearby who stocks them

I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.

When TSHTF, and I'm trying to get home, I'm mugging the first guy I see with these and putting all the kit I plunder from the bag into my Sainsburys bag for life! Why advertise that you are prepped? I even saw someone carrying one of these in Euston with the words "grab bag" stencilled on the back. Sheesh.

They say Benny Hill used to wander around with carrier bags full of cash

When trying to get home your plan is to attack someone who probably has weapons and is expecting to be attacked? Seems like a dodgy plan for self preservation!featherstick wrote:When TSHTF, and I'm trying to get home, I'm mugging the first guy I see with these and putting all the kit I plunder from the bag into my Sainsburys bag for life!"
I doubt you can carry very effective weaponry in a Sainsburys bag, if you can suggest an equally well constructed bag which you dont see as a target let me know. I find it hard to envisage any sort of scenario in the UK where we become savages in the time frame i'll be getting to my bugout location which is days walk from where I live.

I usually have a 5.11 MOAB 10 on me most of the time. It's wellbuilt and practical. The only downside is the molle but as mine is black it doesn't shout 'tacticool'. Have you seen their covert version?Troutman wrote:When trying to get home your plan is to attack someone who probably has weapons and is expecting to be attacked? you hear of lots of people these days who's idea of "prepping" is to mug the first person they see after TSHTF?? I just hope they are prepared for the consequences.Troutman wrote:When trying to get home your plan is to attack someone who probably has weapons and is expecting to be attacked? Adapt or Die, there is no middle ground.

A tin of baked beans or new potatoes in a sainsbury's bag will sure give you a headache
If at first you don't succeed, excessive force is usually the answer.

How about a jar of chiili powder in your inside coat pocket?
Prepping is becoming quite fashionable these days. I prefer grey fashions personally, a Sainsbury's bag is probably as grey as you can be.
