Hi,
I'm a newbie prepper from Shropshire. My strategy is not to try and predict future catastrophes, but instead to achieve some self sufficiency in life's essentials. With this in mind, I'm storing at least three weeks of water, food, fuel for a stove, batteries for torches and radios. And instead of preparing to bug out like Americans living in LA, I'm trying to make sure I can always get home, by keeping enough petrol in the car and a few other useful bits and bobs. It would be good to hear from other like minded salopians so that I don't feel like such a crazy.

Hello and welcome,
No you are not crazy, if you have ever been cut off by snow or flooded you will know that you are quite sane.
