sorry for bothering you again guys - how does it look with bivi bag. let's say I'll be on my way somewhere on bicycle and will lie down with bivi for one night - will somebody treat it as camping?
also how much does good bivi+sleeping bag cost and is it worth buying?

I haven't a clue, worst case is you just roll it up and walk ten minutes down the road.

I've never used a bivi-bag (I'm not comfortable with the concept) but with sleeping bags (as with a lot of gear) Cheap/Light/Durible......Pick two.

cheap and light ;-) 3 season would be good option
I've slept outside (no tent just matress under tree on the edge of forest) in 2 season sleeping bag and to be honest even in July it was pretty cold in the morning and I was dressed well as well. that was years ago in 90s, good 90s ;-)

Get yourself a british army goretex bivi bag and a decent 4 season sleeping bag. Roll mat in the bivi bag and your golden. I did this on exercise in Canada and woke up under a couple of inches of snow, hardy noticed!

The army bivi seems fine. Regarding to bag do I really need 4 season for British weather?

At this time of year I'd go 3 season with a silk liner.....

But my snugpack bag has a adjustable baffle to make the bag bigger and cooler o snugger fit thus warmer....

Look at the ratings rather than the seasons

If using a army bivvy take a badha sheet to keep your head dry

Did some research and it seems that the population density of the UK is approximately 650 people per square mile. Even higher if you subtract the rivers, lakes and other non-habitable areas from the total size. You might just as well BO to your garden in a country wide SHTF event.
