I'm a new prepper residing in sunny Manchester. By trade i am a software engineer. I have done some basic field craft and camping when I was younger and I am looking to revisit this past time with a fresh outlook as a prepper. Thank **** for this website as I was beginning to think I was a paranoid nutter (which is exactly what the Mrs thinks)

As mentioned I have done some basic feild craft in the past and have some experience shooting rifles and shotguns. I also practise jeet kune do. At this point I think I should stress that I am a peace loving hippy with a passion for self-suffiency
