As the subject says, I'm a new member!
I've always had a little interest in the whole concept of prepping for when SHTF, even collecting a thing or two along the way and eventually I've stumbled on this site..
After a quick read through on this site and I think I'm in zone 2/3? BUT originally from Lancashire.. If someone wants to help me out with what the zones are so i'm sure that'd be great!
So that's about it.. So while I check out what other people are doing to prep, say hi and give me some advice 'starting up'
I'd also like to know more about the zones, I did have a cursory search but I couldn't seem to find anything that explained what they meant or where they were, if anyone could shed some light on that for us that would be great!

After a little bit of leg work I've found the areas in a post by Preppingsu - viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1989#p19967
If that link doesn't work search 'Emergency Networkers' and you need to click on page 1.
