Been considering the Juice for a few weeks, but do I really need another one......

dare i ask if you have seen these ;)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gerber-22-01471 ... ulti-plier

i have 2 stashed but not everyday carry for the money i cant fault them

I actually already have a pair of them, but really don't like them, I find locking mechanism fiddly, and the overall feel not as refined and smooth as the Leatherman's.

But yes they are great value and like you I'm keeping them as backup/spares......

they have all past the grip and squeeze as hard as you can test by me ;)

cheaper ones just collapse in my grip...

gerber suspension Leatherman blast and Leatherman juce xe6

and their cases

points to note i dislike the security of the jucy pouch its a sprung clip the case with the leatherman is a tactical version with bit holder....

really like the gerber case as it can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the belt

out of all three the leatherman blast fits better in a pocket....

gives some idea of the tools,...

one thing with the gerber i like is the knife opening tabs.... but prefer the blasts locking mechanism

pliers

Oh and one more thing when your pissing about trying to open all the blades of a multitool to show them off in a photo... please keep a first aid kit handy

its fair to say out the box the jucy is rather err sharp...

I've stuck with my gerber legend for years now, can't seem to break the thing and I've had a good go over time lol
