Eeek!!! not nice to have those critters, when you say container, do you mean one of those huuuuge metal ones or something smaller?

Yup, one of those shipping container thingies. The little sh*ts are getting in the bottom corner under the main door, working their way all along the walls and popping out in the top far corner above my bed. I say 'popping', I could have easily been more accurate and put 'pooping'. I've had to chuck my mattress out which is annoying. Still, I can't grumble too much. Without mice, there are no stoats, owls, sparrowhawks, etc, etc.
As the main "prep" I am concerned about is my health, I have ordered a new blender to help me get more nutrition into my body in an easy and quick way. Its the nutribullet and I have opted for a cheaper refurbished model.... as is my want
I know its not quite a shiny survival zombie apocalypse WROL type toy, but its still there to hopefully keep me healthier in the winter and thus to be able to carry on working and therefore dealing with shtuff that might happen

I've been looking into doing this myself, how have you been learning via books or courses?
I joined a hacker space/maker space. They have all the tools and people willing to help you, you then have access to all the tools 24/7 within a communal workshop.

Nutribullet is brilliant. If you are going to add seeds etc I highly recommend you use the milling blade first to turn into powder as it just doesn't grind that down so well, unless you like picking the bits out of your teeth if course also remember to de-stone cherries and de core apples and pears (seeds have cyanide when blitzed so not good). Freezing your fruit will make it deliciously cold oh and don't forget to add water or the motor will not last long.
You will be amazed at all the flavours you can make. Enjoy!!
