FLour Grinder

Post by dibley »

Dear All Have been playing outside with fire again!! have told the OH that this is experimenting with bread making and finding the art of baking on a bar b Q using a cast iron dutch oven ( our indoor Oven is electric/gas Hybred so that wont last) have found a place to buy wheat and have a little put by but do not have a grinder has any one got one or played with one? any suggestions on a uk supplier?

Have had a great time doing this with the Kids and we enjoyed eating it so sustainability is ok but will need to go another step to self sufficiently.

Wait until harvest time and get yourself a load of sealable buckets, then go and have a chat with the local farmer as he is driving around in his combine and see if you can get him to fill your buckets :D

the only one i can find available in the uk at the moment is the wondermill junior here
its more expensive than the back to basics one Lakeland used to stock them but they appear to be out of them as well. Bit miffed because it was the next item on my shopping list.
