I had a look at my stash of sanitiser, I can't see the content of alcohol on any of them?! Am I being dumb?? :o
What should it say so that I know it's any good? I have loads of this stuff and thought it was all the same bar the "fragrance" I have lemon, mint, aloe vera... are some better than others?? :?:

Usually if their is a hazard warning of the sanitizer being flammable gives you a good idea that there is quite a lot of alcohol present.

Interesting! Only ONE of the brands that I have stocked has a hazard warning on it... does that mean the rest is useless and not fit for purpose??

Dunno its only a generalisation, the bottle clipped to my work bench has no warning but does burn, the one I erm obtained from the skin clinic where I had a wart burnt off also has no warning and you think it would because they use cauterising tools as well has sanitizer in the same space??

There are 2 kinds of the gell / liquid.... problem is in the hospital environment people with alcohol issues were pinching the stuff to drink

if you can google the product name you will often be able to get a MSDS / SDS sheet

eg

http://www.debgroup.com/uk/external-doc ... e=DIS250ML

Page 2 of this product sheet shows whats in it and % of which
If your roughing it, Your doing it wrong ;)

Nice!! Good size bottle too. We had big bottles at work but where the "public" went, they kept getting stolen.... They ended up being put into wire cages screwed to the wall!!

Some patients were also squirting the gel or foam into crisp packets and sniff it.
