New to the forum.

Post by N2P »

Hi everybody i'm N2P, I'm not heavily into prepping, but i like to have some of the basic's covered as i believe most people should. I'm married with 5 children, though one child is in Uni and one is in college doing A'levels, so only have 3 "children" children if you know what i mean. As a family we have all the camping equipment etc and have regular cook outs in our back garden on an open campfire (Our back garden is quite large). We have 4 hens which keep us supplied with eggs, usually 3 a day at least. we started growing vegetables this year in raised beds in the back garden which has been a huge success! I didn't realise it was so easy to grow in abundance :D We also have food stocks which are mainly rice, pasta, noodles, curry powder (to eat with the rice) etc etc, and 2 Sawyer 1 million gallon water filters for emergency water purification. looking forward to talking to you guys and gals about getting more ideas and maybe even offering any advice i may have gained.

Hello and welcome. Sounds like you already know what you're doing. Are you prepping for anything specific?

I'm prepping for anything that may affect the life i live now, whether it be for an hour, a day or quite a while. I'm always hoping for the best, but trying to be a little ready for the worst. Flood, Ebola, Financial crisis, Russia getting an itchy trigger finger etc etc.
