Hello from WV3

Post by mikelmus »

Hello from WV3, Found forum while searching for radio advice for my new hand set. Hope to share and gain some skills. Been a survivalist on and off for donkeys, am biased towards the practical side of prepping in a WROL situation (total SHTF) which bends towards pure survivalism and bug out rather than stay put an hope your neighbours know what to do!
Particularly interested in local hook ups interested in survival skills and coms. :tinfoil

Thanks

:-)

Aright fellas. Thanks very much for the warm welcome.
Loads here to get stuck into, been having a good nosey round so far.
Seems more an more peops interested in prepping/bushcrafting than I first thaught.

Am a bit of a noob to forums, shall try not to get banned just yet. Gulp.

Pseudonym can I ask, what kinda bushcrafting you into at the mo? I'm bizzy with wild edibles & tree identification (minefield  ), slingshot an sorting out a self sustainable coms/solar power (Got a powermonkey traveller extreme but now replacing with more punch for coms, although the traveller will tx on 1 watt it cuts off at 4)

Stasher, dude, whats your take on geocahing supplies, its on my horizon but not got round to it yet?

Cheers lads.

Bushcrafting is a means to an end for me.

Just keeping my hand in outdoorlife TBH.

Camping
Fire prep and lighting
Food prep and cooking
Expedition type adventures - mainly winter trips to Norway
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Hi Cougar.

Can some one explain why as I read memebers posts etc. I see they refer to areas like area 1 or 3 etc. And what would wv3 be?
