Hello from a newbie

Post by BigJockC »

Hi all, new to the site, but after 24 years in the Army not really new to prepping. After all this time and with a family who have turned their back even on camping, I have decided to start preparing to Bug In. I will be looking at the place we are in and making a plan for security, water, food then power.
I do have a question for the moderators if possible - do you have or have you thought of setting up a buy/sell/swap topic rather than paying top ebay prices for stuff? just a thought as the long haired general is making use of these types of things in our local area.

Anyway hello to all

hey mate, welcome! I'm bugging in too. It seemed to make more sense given the population density and geographical aspects of where we live. Plus I'm building a solar powered hydroponics vertical garden that will supply fresh fruit an veg year round.

cheers
