medicine use by dates

medicine use by dates

Anyone know how long you can keep things like aspirin etc past their use by date and does the same apply to most medicines?

been covered a couple of times on here, most medicines will last several years past its use by date most use by dates are used bycompanies to sell more product

Tigs does that apply to antibiotics too?? They smell terrible after a few weeks, kind of musty smelling, can't imagine the smell after a couple of years out of date!! :shock:

like food if the packaging is open it will start to decay , if kept in air tight unopened packaging they will last much longer
