Hi guys, just been to tescos for the weekly shop, they had some good storage boxes on offer got a big box with lid for £3,i put it in the trolley wich upset the missus cause it took up most of the room.So i went and got my own trolley and put the box inside and thought id fill it with tinned goods, some dried milk ect.I filled the whole box for just over £25 pound and theres probably enough food for me and the family for a month.
Just shows that prepping dosent have to be expensive i think everyone should have 1 of these in the home, just makes sense if you ask me.

Ooo no that sounds like my kind of party haha. It's quite odd actually because my boss set his CNC Router on fire last week because he was machining a rebate into 14 inch thick 8x24 foot slab of American Oak, turned the speed down and walked off, while it was busy trying to re-invent the friction fire!! Ahhh every days a school day eh!

I ordered more loo rolls online yesterday from Groupon, got a big bag of strawberry granola and a couple of cans of apricots for the stash.

Started Yule preparations and sorted out 6 presents on a buy 3 for 2 offer at Faith In Nature. A good start I felt!

Need to get the growing son more warm clothes as he just doesn't stop growing!! Eek! He's over 6ft now and tallest in the whole family..

Hey Ladies and Gents how are you all... ?

Its been a while since I was last on so hope all is well.

Anyways I am after a small water tight containers that can be buried.
Anyone with any ideas or suggestions will be very much appreciated as always.

I am not after anything to big just something I can easily bury with some essentials inside.

Not been up to very much lately prepping wise anyway.
Manual Washing machine arrived last week.
Have to say it works like a charm.
Anyone with any kind of technical know how could have probably made one for lees than I paid for it BUT Practical stuff is not really my forte.

To this day I still have 6 rather large bolts left over from the putting up of my bed in 2010ish sooo yea id much sooner buy than make if I can.

Other than that not been doing to much if I am honest, Winter seems like its going to interesting this year so I am certainly keeping an eye on forecasts in the coming months.

The whole Ebola pandemic if you can call it that is going to be interesting as well, I feel in the coming months. As I don't really see it easing up unless the conditions in which some people have to live in West Africa are dealt with from the root upwards.

Going pound shop foraging next week which should be great as I always seem to find something useful in those places. How people knock them I will never know.

I mean 15 lighters £1..... 50 glow sticks £1, 24 Jaffa cakes £1 also last time I was in their they had those metal screw top water bottles with the carabiner clip on top for yep you guessed it £1, and I thought the one I got from Asda was cheap for £8.

The place is a treasure trove for Preppers at all stages....

So yea nothing to exciting I am afraid folks but all seems to be well.

Hope all is ok and thanks for any replies in advance.

Speak to you all soon.
