The Hot Zone-Richard Preston

Post by Stray2 »

With Ebola being hot news at the moment, I've have been digging through my book cupboard to find 'The Hot Zone' by Richard Preston to re-read it. Worth a read, as written in a rather exciting albeit terrifying manner which makes it easy to read.

Loved that gave me goose bumps!

Yeah! It was many years ago when I first read it, and I still remember parts of it in very vivid detail! Powerful subject matter well written.

Just re-read during a lovely caravan holiday in the highlands. Almost made me want to pull up the drawbridge and hole up there! In fact it was so lovely, it almost made me want to do that anyway.

I read this over the summer - especially horrifying considering the current situation... I actually think I know more about Ebola from this book than from anything I've read anywhere else.
