Hi, im Pete!

Post by damunkie »

Hi everybody,

A quick hello, im Pete from the Merseyside area and have been thinking about prepping for the last 12months......I have finally started.
I will be bugging in as bugging out is not a viable option for me.
I look forward to gaining as much info as possible on here.

And contributing too! ;)

Ditto bugging in for me too - if it ever comes to that.
What's made you finally start prepping? I usually have a surge around this time, ready for winter. Ebola has spooked me a little bit but the economy/government is freaking me out!!

(Sorry if that was too political :D )

Hello and welcome, there's a lot of 'in-buggers' here, so you're not alone on that :D

Thanks for the welcome!
Hobo, I decided to finally start prepping after following the Ebola outbreak from the start, I just dont feel comfortable with the way it is being dealt with.
I have just invested in a water to go bottle and extra filters as we have a stream running past the house so hopefully this will cut the need to completely fill my attic with bottled water!
My wife and kids think im crazy of course.......but I feel better knowing that at least I can give my family a fighting chance if it comes to it!
