I try to be prepaired for anything e.g
we go hillwalking so our gear is kept in the car waterproofs, boots, emergency kit, food and drink
looking into solar power for the house and our heating, hot water runs off burning wood ect.
my line of work (gardener) means i own lots of handy tools ect
i need to start building up a food store and water storage (supply) and ive started to put together a BOB
using the lists others on here have put up, very helpful.
my aim when TSHTF is to stay put, but if we need to our camping gear will come in handy to bug out for a while.
many thanks paul

Hi woodsman, those are great practical preps, and a great practical job too! Are you building up a woodstore for your woodburner, from gardening "debris"?

Have a look round the forum, see if you get further ideas.

Thanks for the welcome folks
Looking at some of the posts on here I didn't realise that I was in fact already prepping be it on a very small scale to some of the videos on YouTube , things like firewood storage growing your own food and stocking up on certain household items, it all adds up.
Again thanks for the welcome and I will add to the forum in the near future.
